MADEBY gallery is a unique website on a Finnish market. Platform allows registered and accepted by adminstrators artists to sell hand made designs. Everyone can be a buyer of these unique products, also without creating account in website.

Gallery, apart from enabling selling/buying artworks, gathers community interested in hand made art and topics related to it.

   Shopping and sales
Website allows to view products in a diverse way:
- by looking through categories and subcategories
- in designer's shops
- according to one's configuration with the use of search engine (colors, range of prices, designer, technique, fabrics, category)
- with the use of tags assigned to products
- by products statuses: new, in sale, sold, eco-friendly

Placing orders is available for both registered and unregistered customers.

Shipping costs of particular order are determined by automatic system which defines possible shipping forms (chosen previously by seller) and shipping costs on the basis of whole weight of products in package. Shipping forms, their weight ranges and costs are managed by system administrators.

Customers have to their disposal possibility of paying for orders with the use of Finnish on-line payment system Checkout.fi. Thanks to this solution the process of order completion is held in a faster and automatic way.

Customers have the availability of checking on their orders history, orders statuses and other  information about their purchases. Sellers have the access to their sales and details/statuses of orders placed in their shops. Every operation concerning order (placing an order, changing payment status, changing order status to “sent” made by seller, changing order status to “received” made by customer) results in automatic e-mail notifications to both transaction sides and system administrators who are responsible for orders.
